This beautiful new black coin issue features a burning maple leaf in gold with all filigree details. In addition, the coin is completely plated with Ruthenium and partly with pure gold. The precious metal Ruthenium is a member of the Platinum Group and worldwide very rare. The coin’s reverse depicts a burning maple leaf gilded in gold. On top the inscription “Canada”, the fineness of the Silver is present on both sides, left and right.
