This beautiful 2 Oz Silver coin is the fourth release in the “Mythical Creatures” series and depicts the famous Minotaur, the monstrous creature locked up in the labyrinth of Knossos. The coin has an incredible High Relief thanks to the Smartminting technology, has an Antique Finish quality and comes in a case, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage to 999 pcs worldwide.
The reverse of the coin depicts a muscled Minotaur holding a double-headed axe and standing in the famous labyrinth. The strike seems to display an extraordinary amount of dimensionality, enhanced by a gilded and patterned ring surrounding it. On the right of the reverse, the inscriptions: “MINOTAUR” – the name of the coin and “2016” – the year of issue. On the left, the inscription: “MYTHICAL CREATURES COLLECTION” – the name of the series. The obverse of the coin depicts the Coat of Arms of Palau and the inscriptions: “REPUBLIC OF PALAU” – the issuing country and “10$” – the face value.
